This overwhelming love is perhaps the most consistently reported element of NDEs.

"Following a colonoscopy procedure, this individual experienced severe internal bleeding that led to a near-death experience. Two days after the procedure, he felt unwell during a professional meeting and drove home, losing consciousness. After contacting his doctor, he passed out in the waiting room and awakened in intensive care, having lost approximately two pints of blood with his heart rate dropping to around twenty beats per minute. During the critical episode, he experienced a vivid NDE characterized by intense pain while surrounded by bright white light. Despite the discomfort, he felt compelled to recite the Lord's Prayer and became frustrated when something interrupted his recitation. Most significantly, he encountered his recently deceased mother's face and believes she may have spoken to him, though he couldn't recall her exact words. His wife, present during the crisis, reported that he appeared dead during the episode. The experience left him contemplating its meaning, particularly given his family history of fatal heart attacks and strokes. Though he described the experience as "not earth-shattering," he sought understanding about whether this constituted a genuine near-death experience, expressing interest in taking such encounters more seriously if validated."
