Join us for an in-person meetup at the Dallas Museum of Art as our online community gathers to chat, chew, and chop it up while exploring exhibits that reflect the spiritual traditions of Africa, Asia, and Oceania. Together we’ll walk through the Arts of Africa, Arts of Asia and the Pacific Islands, and related galleries, discussing the symbolism, cosmology, and spiritual practices represented in the art. This will be a relaxed, open conversation where we can reflect on how these cultures expressed ideas about spirit, ancestors, and the unseen world. If you’ve enjoyed these discussions online, this is a chance to connect face-to-face, build community, and explore these powerful traditions together in the galleries.
