"During a heart attack and subsequent stent placement procedure in 2007, the experiencer’s heart stopped, leading to a loss of consciousness. In that state, she entered a vivid afterlife vision of a beautiful flower field with mountains and heard her deceased niece calling to her. She was resuscitated without initially knowing her heart had stopped. The experience eliminated her fear of death and reinforced a belief in life after life. She has since become a dedicated Christian, moving away from her prior Catholic identity."
